Classification of Blogs

Blogging is considered as a private space. Some individuals even blog about their personal things. Bloggers have their own specific genre to write on. Some prefer to blog about fashion, some about cooking and a lot more.

According to ProBlogger, there are many types of blogs. I will list down a few that are common in our society, namely:

Instructional

This kind of blogs tell people how to do something. For example, a blog that teaches an individual how to cook. This blogs will have a list of instructions on helping their readers to cook.

Informational

Informational blogs are common in the society. The blogger tend to inform their readers about any topic. For example, a definition of a word.

Reviews

Reviews are blogs that discuss about the review of a product or a service from the internet. This blog will tell readers about their experiences in buying the particular product or trying the services in a hotel or probably a restaurant.

Lists

Lists is one of the easiest way to write a blog. For example, "10 ways to cure a broken heart".

Link Posts

This is popular among bloggers. Bloggers will simply visit a blog and if they find it interesting, they will recommend to their readers by linking the blog's url to their blogs.

Rant

This is very common among bloggers. Bloggers will rant about everything in their blogs. Probably they had a bad day at work or at school. They will simply blog out their frustrations and let the world know.
